Poll: Who will be B.O.G in the 2011 AFL GF?

This is the game we have all been waiting for. The top two teams for the entire season will face off against each other in what is expected to be a great grand final. It would be hard to find any supporter disappointed with the match up.

The premiership battle throws up many stories each and every year.

One of which is that dominant individual who departs the arena with the Norm Smith Medal hanging around his neck – generally accompanied by a premiership medal, but Buckley and Judd demonstrated you can still be B.O.G in a losing side.

Collingwood and Geelong have an array of stars who don the vertical or horizontal stripes each week and to predict who will be awarded the medal is almost as tough as picking the Melbourne Cup winner.

Dane Swan enters this weekend’s game full of confidence after claiming the Brownlow Medal with a record number of votes (34) since the introduction of the 3-2-1 polling system. His midfield buddy came in fourth on 24 votes.  Collingwood’s key forward, Travis Cloke, rounded out the top 20 with 13 votes.

Joel Sellwood was the only Geelong player to make it into the Brownlow Medal top 20.

Who will be judged best afield in 2011 and join the honour roll of Norm Smith Medal winners?
