Patty Mills is headed back to the NBA and will wear the black and silver of the San Antonio Spurs.
Mills who previously played with the Portland Trail Blazers when last in the league, will team up with Australian national coach and Spurs assistant Brett Brown.
The Australian guard became a free agent after Portland renounced their rights on him and now he will add to his 74 NBA games resume alongside Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili.
San Antonio sits first in the Southwest and headed for yet another playoffs appearance. Mills will be an important component to the Spurs as a backup for Parker who is playing at MVP levels. The Spurs were in need for a point guard after T.J. Ford recently announced his retirement.
